Over the past 13 years, Shinsei has been more than just a place of training; it has become a second home for many of us, a place where our children learn not only martial arts skills but also important life lessons of discipline, respect, and perseverance. We have witnessed the positive transformations in our children, seeing them grow not just physically but also mentally and emotionally, thanks to the nurturing environment provided by Shinsei.
Now, as we look towards the future, we have an incredible chance to further enhance our dojo and continue providing exceptional experiences for generations to come. As you may know, we are preparing to relocate to a new facility, a move that presents both challenges and opportunities. To ensure a smooth transition and to create a space we can all be proud of, we need your support.
Here is a breakdown of our Capital Campaign with some of the key areas where your generous contributions can make a real difference:
1. Flooring – $10,000: Providing a safe and durable surface for training.
2. Building materials for offices – $15,300: Establishing functional and welcoming administrative spaces.
3. Mats – $15,000: Investing in high-quality mats to ensure the safety and comfort of our students.
4. Paint – $1000: Adding a fresh coat of paint to create an inspiring atmosphere.
5. Lumber for shelving & seating – $1750: Creating comfortable seating areas for families and visitors.
6. New equipment – $25,000: Upgrading our equipment to enhance the training experience.
The total is close to $87,050 and labor isn’t included in any of the prices above.
With our fundraising efforts between $10,000 and $20,000 we are seeking an additional 80,000 to $90,000 for an estimate total of $150,000 to cover all costs to ensure we can open our new facility. These are essential elements needed for our transition which will contribute to our successful relocation.
